Luke Aylen (Best Man):

“I’m not a bride or groom, but I just have to leave a message on here.

I was delighted when asked by Simon and Joanna to be best man. Being a wedding photographer myself thought meant I was more than a little nervous about 1) beings on the other side of the camera; and 2) worrying or stressing about the photographer.

I needn’t have feared with Tim Bishop Photography covering the wedding. The beautiful images on here and on his site speak for themselves. Having just looked through the photos from the day, I am blown away by how high quality they are. They really capture the personality of Simon and Joanna and the mood of the whole day. His images have a timeless quality that will look as good in 50 years time as they do today. Simon and Jo really did make the right choice.

For me, what set Tim apart though was his energy and fun on the day. It’s hard to tell from photos themselves what the photographer is like. Tim is funny, friendly and, in chatting with others on the day, everyone agrees that he did not just document the day, he added to it by his personality and presence as well as putting everyone at ease in front of the camera. He is professional and unobtrusive but got superb images throughout the day.

Even as a wedding photographer myself, I was able to forget Tim was there. Ask any photographer what it’s like giving up your camera for the day and trusting someone else, it’s tough! I could’t have hoped for someone better and honestly was able to barely think about the photography throughout the whole day.

I really can’t commend Tim enough (I am not on commission!) Any prospective Brides and Grooms are very much in safe hands and should’t hesitate if considering him.”

“Oh my god! Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much! You have captured the day exactly as I remember, and we have some fantastic memories that will be with us for a lifetime.

We have just got the internet here in Oz today – we sent the link to some friends and family who have been leaving some very enthusiastic comments, but just had a proper look ourselves. They are perfect! All we wanted was one good photo, but we have hundreds! Thank you so much!…

…The slideshow is absolutely fantastic. That must have taken absolutely hours and hours to put together. Got a few tears running when I saw that – it’s a perfect story of the whole day…

…Thanks so much Tim, you have been fab!”

Rosie (Mother of the Bride):

“Just wanted to say you were absolutely brilliant at Gemma and Adams wedding at Manorafon on the 28th September. We barely knew you were there but it was a pleasure to have you around anyway! You were so unobtrusive and mingled in with the guests making us feel very relaxed and comfortable – especially those of us that stiffen up with a lens in front of them! I am so looking forward to seeing all the photos now – the ‘teasers’ look great and I am excited at the prospect of what is to follow. You are amazingly creative in your work and I have really enjoyed your website. Your passion shows through and you obviously have an eye for creativity when capturing your shots.

Your current portfolio is brilliant!

Good luck with your career – you have already got the right ingredients for success in what you are doing – many congratulations!
Best wishes, Rosie (mother of the bride!)”

“I wanted to send you a thank you card but don’t have your address, so here’s a less pretty one…

Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day, but also for your company.  It was lovely having you around, and without you pointing out the fact that time was getting on and we ought to be getting ready, I would have been extremely late to my wedding (rather than fashionably so)!

It was sweet of you to remember the names of all the key players at the wedding and I’m really pleased that circumstances allowed us to ask you to eat with us – that felt right.

I can’t wait to see the photos.  I know they will be stunning”

“So so so happy with the photos! They are absolutely amazing! Really happy with your work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these so very special”

“Hey Tim, we got the photos. We absolutely love them, we must have watched the DVD a million times already. We are so happy, thank you. My parents and family are so pleased, it captured the feeling of the day and you managed to get SO many shots that we didn’t even know about!

The packaging of the DVD is so beautiful as well. We really couldn’t be happier. Thankyou!!!!!!”

“Firstly, Thank you SO MUCH for the fantastic job you did and for being a part of our wedding. It felt as though we were sharing our special moments with an old friend rather than someone there to do a job and we can’t thank you enough for the part you played in making our day exactly how we wanted it!

All of our guests have also praised you highly and have all said how relaxed they felt around you which should hopefully show on the photos!”

“Thank you so much for the beautiful albums which we got today. We really appreciate all of your hard work and effort to leave us with a great keepsake from the day”

  1. Firstly from the bottom of our hearts a massive thank you!
There are so many beautiful photos that goodness knows how we are ever going to choose a double numbered figure for our album. That being said only an album with ALL photos would suffice! But would be a little too heavy I think.
Every moment captured without realising you were around so I stick to my word when I said you are ”creeping Jesus” or Tim whichever you prefer.
    Once again thank you Tim!!
From one very happy bride & groom. (Mr & Mrs Clarke)
